History

Pestalozzi Children's Education Centre in Pokhara was founded in February 2016 as a non-profit organisation under Nepal Pestalozzi Foundation to provide secondary education to exceptionally bright children-especially girls- from poor families living in remote, rural parts of Nepal who are unable to get a proper schooling. It's an attempt to break the cycle of deprivation of marginalized communities by investing in the education of their gifted children and helping towards their sustainability.
