Every Beginning has Ending ...

This month at Pestalozzi Children's Education Center (PCEC) in Pokhara,Nepal, we organized contests for both batches of children on Saturdays---the children's partial day off from school and studies. Many of the children participated in different games. Three teams were formed to compete in soccer, tug-of-war, scrabble, table tennis, chess and a general knowledge quiz.

Next week, based on the success of all the competitions, on the day before I leave, we will have a party to celebrate the founding of PCEC, Pokhara and the winners of the numerous contests. The children will also perform many English songs and numerous Nepali dances. A great way to end my three month stay!

I will be off to India for six months of adventure and teaching Buddhist nuns in the far northern mountains of India along Tibet's western border.
